Study from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE
In September, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE from Freiburg released a study on photovoltaics in Germany. The collection of the latest facts, figures, and discoveries are intended to aid the holistic evaluation of the development of photovoltaics in Germany.
Germany is leaving the age of fossil and nuclear fuels behind. Photovoltaics will play an important role in Germany's sustainable energy future. For this reason, researchers at the ISE have compiled the latest data in a guide. The publication sheds light on questions relating to the efficiency and profitability of PV power plants as well as the development of the percentage of renewable energies in net power consumption.
