S. Jaritz shines bright in BOEHME® SYSTEMS Classic Shingles
A new build that kills two birds with one stone: providing plenty of space for all workstations while at the same time representing a company’s area of expertise. This achievement has just been accomplished near Graz in Austria by S. Jaritz Stahlbau & Montage GmbH. The special highlight of this building’s envelope are the Classic Shingles from BOEHME® SYSTEMS, which further accentuate the structure's extraordinary design.
The architecture of business premises represent a company to the outside world, but also have an impact on the workforce’s well-being. Both of these aspects were of primary importance when the new offices of S. Jaritz Stahlbau & Montage GmbH were planned. The elaborately designed building envelope is corporate branding in architecture exemplified - the new build manages to evoke what the company stands for: precision and first-class workmanship using the material it produces day in day out. The narrow sides of the building are each clad twice with a façade made of stainless steel rhomboidal or ‘diamond’ shapes, once on the ground floor and once on the upper floor. The façades, made from non-rusting BOEHME® SYSTEMS shingles which have a u-shaped surround, are given a clear linear structure as a result of the diagonal lines that are created by the formation of the shingles. The totally sealed surface prevents any water from penetrating even under lashing rain and high winds. The wide sides of the building facing the road received aluminium panels, while the façade facing the factory and the upper floor received aluminium tiling.
